Himalaya Yoga Valley Centre has graduated over
500 successful yoga teacher trainees from all corners of the globe
at our training centres located in India, Ireland and Thailand.
Our world renowned 200 Hour, one month, Teacher
Training Course (TTC) is internationally accredited with Yoga
Alliance U.S, Yoga Alliance UK, Yoga
Alliance International, The World Yoga Council
and the International Yoga Federation. Trainees
emerge from our TTC as confident teachers with a strong and solid
teaching skill set ready to begin their career. Alongside developing
the art of teaching, trainees also gain a comprehensive understanding
of the practice of yoga asanas, philosophy, physiology, adjusting,
mantra chanting, charkas, anatomy, ayurveda, mudras, pranayama and
meditation.
Himalaya Yoga Valley Centre (Registered Yoga School 200

in classes and workshops for both beginners and seasoned practitioners.
Himalaya Yoga Valley is dedicated to honouring and sharing traditional
Ashtanga and Hatha yoga practices as passed on by the great masters

Teacher Training
Our 200 hour TTC is a Yoga Alliance registered, one month intensive
training certification course that offers students the opportunity
to access authentic, traditional teachings from our specialist Indian
and western teacher team, lead by expert teacher and school Director
Yogacharya Lalit Kumar. Our highly experienced management team have
guided and assisted hundreds of students from around the world with
various aspects of making the journey to India to fulfil their dreams

Himalaya Yoga Valley are dedicated to our trainee’s further
education post graduation, offering Our
unique internship program placements to graduates wishing to
further their studies upon completion of their training.
Yogacharya Lalit
Expert instructor and Director of Himalaya Yoga Valley, Yogacharya
Lalit Kumar, has been practicing yoga for the past twenty
years and has taught nationally and internationally for the past
twelve years. He has trained students from all walks of life with
his open and practical teaching style. Lalit has studied Ashtanga
and Hatha Yoga from the age of seven, and was initiated by the respected
yoga master Swami Veda Bharati, disciple of Swami Rama, founder
of the Himalaya Yoga Institute. Lalit is the Hon. Dharamshala Secretary
of the International Yoga Federation. He teaches with a strong focus
on proper alignment and maintaining integrity in asana. For more

Locations
Himalaya Yoga Valley India branches are located at Mandrem Beach,
Goa and also in the Himalayan mountainside town of McLeod Ganj,

Standards
Himalaya Yoga Valley is a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with Yoga
Alliance. We are also members of The World Yoga Council, International
Yoga Federation and the Yoga Confederation of India - Asian Union
of Yoga. Lalit is the International Yoga Federation Hon. Secretary
for Dharamshala. The teaching at Himalaya Yoga Valley reflects the
high standards of these organisations and we are honoured to carry
forward the traditional yoga teachings of India. Our reputation
as a leader in Yoga education has developed by consistently maintaining

The Teacher Training Course was truly an
incredible month of light, love, laughter, and growth. The
experience was simultaneously challenging(in many ways-
physical, emotional, spiritual, mental, etc.) and nurturing.
We were blessed to have teachers with a wealth and diversity
of experience and study within the vast tradition of yoga,
encouraging a full and dynamic practice.
