Our centre is located in Upper Dharmsala (also known as McLeod Ganj) and is home to His Holiness The Dalai Lama of Tibet. It is a haven for yogis and travelers alike. This area has proved hugely popular with travelers looking to explore a unique part of India in this Buddhist enclave, whch seamlessly fuses Tibetan and Indian cutures. Our centre overlooks a stunning valley dotted with Hindu and Buddhist temples. The snowcapped peaks of the Himalayas are easily visible, making for unforgettable sunrises. This is the perfect location for Yogis to really connect with themselves in a spiritually uplifting and inspiring location.

Himalaya Yoga Valley is an RYS® 200 (Registered Yoga School) with Yoga Alliance. We offer 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training courses at our centre in Dharmsala. For further details of course content and dates please see the Yoga Teacher Training page. This course is also offered at our Goa location.

Location and Surroundings

Dharmsala is in the North of India, approximately a one hour flight from Delhi. Himalaya Yoga Valley center is situated at the peaceful location of Siddharth House, just a 10-15 minute walk downhill from the main town square of Mc Leod Ganj. There are a number of interesting walks to nearby nearby towns (Bhagsu/Dharamkot), waterfalls and a glacier. There are a number of other activities available in Dharmsala, such as trekking, Vipasana meditation, cookery courses etc. Popular destinations from Dharmsala include Rishikesh and Manali.
